HERMETIC awarded as "TOP-AREVA-Supplier"

On 1st July 2009, HERMETIC was honoured as "TOP AREVA Supplier" within a festive ceremony in Berlin by Anne Lauvergeon, chairwoman of the board of AREVA.

The worldwide leading power engineering company AREVA has bestowed in Berlin upon 141 of its ancillary companies from Germany the title „TOP AREVA Supplier“. This is to underline the close relationship between AREVA and its business partners, which make a significant contribution to the success of the company.

 

In the year 2008, AREVA in total has placed orders to 8.800 ancillary companies in Germany alone.

 

Receipt of this seal of approval is bound to the fulfilment of about 25 different criteria. Among others, these criteria cover topics like quality, competitiveness and innovative ability as well as durability of business relationships. Furthermore, the suppliers must comply with strict rules and standards, safety guidelines and operational safety requirements. One more important criterion is the engagement of the supplier companies to sustainable development and environment protection.

 

Dr. Stefan Krämer as representative of the company accepted the award in Berlin.
